TEAM 6 – 3D Printed textile prototype | “Chain Effect”

The Chain Effect was the first prototype I printed with Fortus 450.
The model came out in a good shape.

By having gaps between several small pieces, the extra spaces allow each unit to move like chained molecules. The rings on the two sides of each unit acting as the bond.

The loose connections created by angled cord adding some level of direction to the movement between the chains.
